Sensor systems are one of the technological areas in which the Principality of Asturias boasts a high degree of specialisation, deriving from a unique research environment and infrastructures applicable to all subsectors of industrial activity, concentrated at the Technology Centres CETEMAS (forest sector), CTIC (transversal digitalisation) and IDONIAL, as well as at the University of Oviedo.
