The EOI Business School, through the network of European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) in Spain (which AsDIH is part of), makes the PADIH Programme funds available to SME
The Support Programme for Digital Innovation Hubs (PADIH) provides in-kind aid of up to 30,000 euros for companies that need to advance by implementing cutting-edge digital technologies that will enable them to improve their competitiveness within their production sector.
These grants are managed through the EOI and finance tailor-made advisory, testing, experimentation, and training services provided by entities belonging to the EDIH, digital innovation centres located throughout Spain.
The PADIH is an initiative launched by the Ministry of Industry and Tourism within the framework of the Spanish Government’s Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan and financed by the European Union through the NextGenerationUE Funds.
Quesería Rey Silo and Electrónica Edimar, PADIH grants through AsDIH
Thanks to the PADIH programme and the collaboration in Asturias of Asturias Digital Innovation Hub (AsDIH), companies such as Electrónica Edimar can learn about and apply the latest digital technologies to their day-to-day processes. In this case, Electrónica Edimar uses a hyperspectral vision camera to monitor frozen stuffed peppers inside an opaque container to know how many peppers are in each container.
Or the Rey Silo cheese factory, which, using optical sensors based on near infrared (NIR) technology, can monitor in real time the quality parameters of raw and whole cow’s milk and know in a simple and immediate way the fat/protein ratio. This data is key to ensure that the milk is in the best conditions to become cheese.
Our partner ASINCAR is the one who offered both companies its advisory services, testing the technological solutions to see their viability before investing, developing new products and processes through their integration, training in handling and even help in obtaining financing. The result is that ASINCAR acted as an external R&D&I department for the companies.
